You’re invited to attend the “Dancing with the Stars” fundraiser gala where Hampton Roads well-known personalities will compete against each other to dazzle us with their suave and debonair dance moves.
Contestants will dance the waltz, swing and the salsa while being
critiqued and evaluated.
Come out April 18th and hear Judge Eileen Olds pronounce a judgment over the dance moves of Chesapeake Police Captain,
Tony Torres and his partner candidate for Chesapeake School Board
Tina Pullen and assert a ruling over Councilman Cliff Hayes and his partner Mrs. Hayes. Hear WVEC’s TV anchor, Regina Mobley report the unedited steps of Pastor & Elder Brown of “The Mount”. WHRO’S personality Barbara Hamm will be there to announce the step by step footwork of radio personalities Mike Chandler and Karol Scott of Rejoice 100.9 and let’s not forget that we’ll see the smooth, polished footwork of Gary McCollum, President of Cox Cable and that’s just to name a few. Other judges will include Lynn Olsen of the Great Bridge Battlefield Foundation and professional dance
instructor - Lorraine Graves.
This event will be emceed by WVEC hosts Janet Roach and
